Moodbungalow

One Album

We are two producers/multi-instrumentalists working under the name moodbungalow. Our real names are Matt Robertson and Mike Reed.
We have spent the last ten years producing, playing, engineering, arranging and programming for artists including The Prodigy, Kanye West, David Gray, Bat for Lashes, Senser, Mike Rutherford, Dido, and many more, as well as writing music for many TV commercials.
We are based in London, but we take much of our work to a remote and magical studio in the Highlands of Scotland, where we blend lush pianos and guitars, obscure vintage keyboards and drums - the sound of real instruments in real rooms - with cutting edge programming and digital wizardry. We love using the newest technologies, but we also love the organic process of recording real people playing music - and then bringing these two worlds together. Our tools include our extensive collection of drums, percussion, keyboards, guitars, banjos, and strange toy instruments, together with analogue tape machines, an eclectic microphone collection, various computers, plugins, soft synths, logic and pro-tools rigs.
