Jack Guimon

One Album

Jack Guimon is a Los Angeles based musician influenced by Chris Isaak, Tom Petty and Roy Orbison. His first EP was conceived somewhere between Tucson and El Paso while on the road with his love close beside. The inspiration struck at dusk in the desert, as rock n’ roll drifted out the windows, and it was fueled by the freedom of four wheels on the ground and one in the hands. Freedom to drive, in a hybrid of course.

You And The Road Jack Guimon

Lyrics:

All I want for my birthday is you and the road. We'll take my daddy's car down to Mexico. You say you want romance, well darlin’ this is your chance. Come take a ride with me, and I will give you that dance. Ah ooo When I was seventeen I never wanted to run. I never got that urge until 21. I look into your smile I see my future for miles. Let's count the stars tonight instead of ceiling tiles. Ah ooo There's a full moon on our side Leave your fear at the door and let's, let's ride Ah ooo

What She Couldn't Say Jack Guimon
02:51

Lyrics:

I came around here looking for you yesterday. I asked your roommate where you were and she had to look away. She said she couldn't say. So I came a knocking on your door again today. I'm gonna ask and when I do, You cannot look away. Tell me what she couldn't say. Oh tell me, tell me, tell me what she couldn’t say. Cause it kept me up all night, Thinkin’ about what she couldn’t say. You share more with your followers than me it seems. Maybe more than I even know, With the one you called a dream. Has he jumped out of the screen? You can bow your head I don't need facial lines to read. The guilt is in the way you stand, Like you can't wait to leave. I'll leave when there's honesty. Oh tell me, tell me, tell me what she couldn’t say. Cause it kept me up all night, Thinkin’ about what she couldn’t say. Don’t lie. Girl you gotta give it straight. Don’t lie Tell me, tell me, tell me what she couldn’t say. Cause it kept me up all night, Thinkin’ about what she couldn’t say.
